Rar. I didn't know you particularly cared about Red Alert, but yes, it is tiresome to see Red Alert written as a frenzied paranoiac [although I notice nobody has mentioned Streetwise so far, but this does not surprise me as he has the characterisation of a dry twig here ¬_¬].
And why shouldn't Spike get mailbombed? Not everyone is going to love the Autobots, and people who hate the Autobots may consider Spike a valid target for being a "collaborater".
