Or, hmm, I wonder if it is a holdover from once being sold goods. It might be a bit spooky for an owner if his slave does everything invisibly via wireless, but if the slave has to go type things on a keyboard, it is a bit easier to keep track of what he's doing.
I guess it is sort of sad how Sphaleros thinks he has enslaved Megatron, when really, all Sphaleros has done is try to be like Megatron and failed at it, too.
I know Sphaleros is mentally ill, and Optimus Prime makes a lot of dumb mistakes around Megatron, too (like that duel), but as someone who has seen all the cartoon and comics, I want to grab Sphaleros, shake him, and shout, "Megatron is a lying liar who lies, you idiot!"
Maybe that is why I was happy for Headshrinker. Headshrinker realises that Megatron is a lying liar who lies and makes the best of it, thereby proving himself to have the most common sense and survival skills of any Autobot in this story, even if it thereby means he ceases to be an Autobot.
