Reminds me a bit of, er, the episode wherein Cyclonus and Scourge crash on Paradron and exploit the place, only more horror-y, which is kind of your style.

And it has Skids in it! Doing stuff. Or, rather, not doing stuff.

Makes sense, although I'd never seen that episode at the time of writing. I fed voraciously upon Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Shaun Hutson and Ramsey Campbell in my teens; I suspect I'll always have a horror tinge to anything I write.

Skids! Who was totally suited to the role and probably would've been the main character in the end. Nobody writes about Skids, or his soapy human girlfriend.
